This page tells you who runs this website and how to reach me. The site is the independent consulting practice of Oleksandr Petrenko, a sole trader based in Vienna, Austria. There is no company behind it, no shop and no contact form - you reach me by email.
Owner and media owner
This website and its content are owned and operated by an individual sole proprietor (Einzelunternehmer) under Austrian law. The information below is provided to satisfy the disclosure duties of §5 of the Austrian E-Commerce Act (ECG) and §24 and §25 of the Austrian Media Act (MedienG).
Business purpose
Independent consulting in computational systems biology and biomedical data and AI infrastructure for biotech, pharma and academic research and development teams.
Trade regulation and registration
The activity is carried out as a trade (Gewerbe) subject to the Austrian Trade Regulation Act (Gewerbeordnung 1994, GewO). The applicable Austrian trade law is available at www.ris.bka.gv.at.
As a member of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (Wirtschaftskammer Wien), the rules of the Chamber and the Trade Regulation Act apply. See www.ris.bka.gv.at.
Online dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) for consumers: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. I am neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Hosting
This site is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The host delivers the site and keeps server logs for delivery and security. Details of the data processing involved are set out in the privacy policy.
